I was looking back at March this week thinking wow, this truly has been the longest month ever, then I stopped and looked at my gratitude section in my prayer journal and it is FULL. In fact, it is overflowing. How beautiful of a perspective shift is that?!
Through all the crazy, the busy, the storms, the hard, when we anticipate the provisions and look in awe all that God has done, our mindset and energy transforms.
Instead of starting the day focused and stressed about all I need to do, I pause and name out-loud one blessing, one surprise, one victory from the day before and sit in that awe for a few months. It’s shifted so much for me!
Eek, I also cut out caffeine! Again! Life after our third baby has been a wild ride and I’ve relied too heavily on caffeine, and life happens, that’s ok!
At the beginning of this month I noticed some symptoms I didn’t love—heart racing, increase in anxiety, trouble sleeping and way less energy. I felt sluggish. Fatigue with caffeine is a sign it needs to go! 🏃🏼♀️ I knew it was time to give up caffeine again, or at least majorly decrease it! I actually fully gave it up 7 years ago before having kids and it was the BEST energy I ever had.
Instead I’m focusing on actually healing and restoring my body through mineral re-balancing, adrenal support, daily rhythms and sleep. Goodness I slept 10 hours the other night, wohoo!
Honestly I’ve found so much healing in doing less, less caffeine, less work hours (but using them more intentionally and doing “more”), less supplements, and rather getting specific with my daily rhythms to shift my body into a place of energy, calm and balance. Seeing this transform my energy and physical and mental health has been so beautiful.

Wishing you a beautiful month ahead! Enjoy my favorite products, concepts and rhythms of this month!

March - 10 loves
Majorly decreased caffeine: This is just something I knew my body was needing. I still enjoy a small cup of coffee or half calf in the morning, because let’s be real the smell and cozy ritual is my favorite, but I’ve been focusing on addressing the root cause of energy rather than giving my body a jolt of something that only dips my energy more.
Sleep Support: my all time favorite sleep supplement and what I love about this is it is truly a holistic supplement, addressing not just in the moment sleep but also addressing the root cause of why you aren’t sleeping with ingredients like L-Theanine and magnesium to restore the adrenals. Take about 20 minutes before bed and you’ll get the deepest, most restorative sleep and wake up refreshed!
Spring meal recipe plan: LOVING these recipes. I’ve joked lately that days when dinner is planned before 9am the entire day goes so much smoother.
Wild Things: The Art of Nurturing Boys: As a mama to 2 boys very close in age and FULL of energy and determination, it can be draining, because wow boys are so different than girls (and thank goodness for that)! I've heard such great things about this book and my sweet chiropractor recommended it to me last week and I instantly purchased—reminder to look for a practitioner that is supporting you beyond just their specialty, they genuinely care about your whole well being! I'm already loving every word and it really meets you in the season your kids are in and what is going on with their brain and body. My husband has put so much into action too and it’s working!
Seed: I LOVE this probiotic + prebiotic blend because it's so effective and robust giving you what you need to see results. I think there is such a misunderstanding of probiotics because digestive support isn't just to get you moving, although that is important. Absorbing the nutrients in your food is KEY too—many of us are eating all the right things but aren’t absorbing fully. FLOURISH15 for 15% off >
Poppy + Barley Leisure Leather Slip-On: Everything from this brand is beautiful, timeless and feels like you are walking on a cloud, trust me I’ve walked miles in these shoes. I love this fresh color for spring!
Rescue Stress Pastilles: Press ‘reset and refresh in the middle of life’s overwhelming, stressful or big moments with these floral candies! 🍭🍊 In the words of my 3 year old: “I need my calming candies mama” 🥹 See them in action.
Play Theatre: I’ve been eyeing this play theatre for our kids who love to put on productions, make believe and sing!
Throwing 10 things away: Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed, I find 10 things to throw or put away and it is such an instant release of stress. Clutter shifts the body into a chronic stress state and can be an underlying stressor for so many, physically and mentally. Try this and tell me how you feel after!! Starting the day in awe: I hinted at this at the beginning of this post, but this has been such a powerful tool for me. Rather than instantly getting overwhelmed by all I need to do, or that didn’t get done yesterday, I pause and think of one thing I am in awe of from the day prior. A need that was met, a prayer that was answered, an unexpected event or conversation, a joyful memory.
