Goodness, I don’t know if I would recommend doing a military move solo with 3 small children and a dog…but the confidence and satisfaction of persevering through something so hard is worth it on the other side! We are truly stronger than we believe.
I prayed Psalm 84 the entire process, “blessed are those whose strength is in you, they go from strength to strength.” Moving isn’t just a week long process, the build up, the months of limbo the military had us in, and then sorting through the disaster after the move of having things dumped (quite literally) in our new house has been intense. But we have seen so many miracles and blessings along the way. I am worn out, but also in awe of the miracles!
Taking this next month to majorly settle in and cultivate new rhythms as a family! This is the fun part of newness—settling into new patterns, exploring and discovering new ways to flourish together.
